Campers will be supervised all day by our staff of trained counselors, and we consistently have a ratio of 1:5 between our campers and counselor staff. We train all of our adventure course staff with professional teams of ropes course operators and safety check all of our equipment regularly. We also have nurses on staff to oversee health needs, distribute medications, and communicate with parents as needed.
At Camp Arrowhead, we also have a zero tolerance policy against bullying and any/all forms of hate speech. Each camper is expected to treat all other campers with respect, and to help each other achieve the best possible experience. If a camper has difficulty meeting this expectation, parents may be called upon to assist or campers will be sent home for more serious offenses. Our leadership addresses all incidents of bullying seriously and trains staff to promote communication with their staff and their campers. We work together as a team to ensure that campers gain self-confidence, make new friends, and go home with a safe and fun camp experience.
